Nordic Food Panel 184 IgG – Food Intolerance Test
    local_offer

Who is the test intended for?

The Nordic Food Panel is a food hypersensitivity test that analyzes 184 different foods. This is the market's most accurate and broadest test for measuring food sensitivities.

The Nordic Food Panel is a so-called blood drop test that can be easily done at home. In other words, only a small amount of blood from the fingertip is needed to perform the test.

The test is suitable for people who suspect that the symptoms are caused by the food they eat. This IgG test, therefore, measures IgG antibodies that the body's immune system produces against certain proteins in food. The test analyzes food sensitivities, not allergic IgE-mediated reactions.

The test can be recommended for people with the following symptoms:

    • Inflammatory problems such as arthritis and joint pain
    • Muscle aches
    • Ear infections
    • Headache
    • Migraine
    • Insomnia
    • Rashes
    • Recurrent illness
    • Other symptoms such as redness of the skin, itching and burning in the throat, nose, ears and genitals

    Gastrointestinal symptoms such as:

    • Swelling
    • Constipation
    • Diarrhea
    • Gas formation (Flatulence)
    • Stomach ache
    • Irregular bowel movements
    • Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
    • Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD: Crohn's disease, celiac disease, ulcerative colitis)

    What does the report say?

The analysis tests for food sensitivities and the substances shown in the report to which the person's immune system reacts, i.e. which food substances raise IgG antibody levels.

What does the result mean to you?

Eliminating IgG-reactive foods from the diet may ease hypersensitivity symptoms.

Based on the test report, the doctor/nutritionist can plan instructions for individual diet and supplement recommendations.

Certain reactive foods are often removed from the diet for a certain period.

Based on the report, the so-called rotation diet refers to recycling food substances in the diet, in which case the effect of the antibodies is reduced and the symptoms are relieved.

The study is provided by Nordic Laboratories.

Regarding the interpretation of the test, our recommendation is to have a one-hour remote consultation and coaching with Doctor Olli Sovijärvi.
