Our strong reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) extract is made from Finnish reishi and is extracted with water and alcohol. The active ingredient concentration of our tincture is standardised. 

Reishi was first mentioned over 2000 years ago in the classic Chinese literary work Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing. The mushroom has been used in China and Japan for a millenia, and is one of the world’s most recognised and studied polypores.  

Known as a wood-decay fungus, reishi grows naturally on the white decay of deciduous trees, most often in groves and forests. Unlike many other wood-decay fungi, the reishi growing on the decay of tree trunks has a stem. 

The extremely beautiful antler-shaped reishi is a relatively rare natural occurrence, which is the reason for its cultivation. The raw ingredient in our Finnish reishi tincture grows wild in Lapland.  

Contains 3% reishi solids, 20% ethanol. 

Recommended daily dose: 1 dropperful 3 times per day with water (1 dropperful = 1 ml = 100 mg reishi extract solids).
