We use the first press, unrefined hemp oil. After the oils are cold pressed, they are extracted by mechanical means, not by heat or solvents. As a result, the ingredients are processed very little and the nutrients are retained much better. Studies have shown that cold-pressed or unrefined oil contains more antioxidants and vitamins than refined oil, which in turn provides greater skin protection.

The red clover has been used in folk medicine for ages due to its restorative, anti-inflammatory and anti-aging effects.

Lady’s mantle (Alchemilla) is a skin toner and healer. This herb has been traditionally used to mend and connect torn tissues making it specifically helpful in conditions such as hernias, sore muscles and general wounds. Lady's mantle is also thought to have some nervous system balancing properties and has been used for insomnia & anxiety.

The grapefruit essential oil is added for its antibacterial, mood lifting, refreshing, and relieving effects.
